I'm putting together some hotpotatoes activities to complement the legendary Tony Cassidy's work on Cyclone Sidr. There is a Cyclone Sidr Pack of five linked activities here, or else, separately... first up is a Hurricanes multi-choice, including the BBC flash animation on how they happen. Second, a listening exercise courtesy of BBC news all about the impact of Cyclone Sidr and third, a geography crossword on the cyclone facts. Relating to development factors there's a UK v Bangladesh development matchup and jumbled sentence exercise on drawing conclusions. Not to mention a Hoopshoot game on same subject! New for 2008!
